About Tessa M. LeWitt, MD
Dr. LeWitt is board-certified in dermatology with clinical expertise in a variety of dermatologic conditions, including complex medical dermatology and oncodermatology. She earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan, where she studied biomolecular sciences. She went on to receive her medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine, where she was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha national medical honor society. After a medical internship at Lenox Hill Hospital, Dr. LeWitt completed her dermatology residency at NewYork Presbyterian – Columbia University, where she served as chief resident. Dr. LeWitt is devoted to providing exceptional, evidence-based, compassionate, and comprehensive care to each of her patients. She remains active in clinical and translational research endeavors and has been recognized with several honors, including the inaugural Bisaccia Honor Fund Award for most outstanding research project in Dermatology. She has authored numerous publications and has presented her research at national and international conferences.
