About Robert Steven Zilinyi, MD
Robert Zilinyi, MD, is an interventional cardiologist specializing in complex coronary and endovascular interventions. He performs catheter-based interventions in the coronary, pulmonary, and peripheral arteries as well as the peripheral venous system.
Born and raised in New York City, he received his BA in Philosophy from Skidmore College, MD from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, and an MS in Biostatistics from Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health. After completing a surgical internship at Brigham and Women's Hospital, he went on to complete his internal medicine residency, cardiovascular disease, endovascular interventions, and interventional cardiology fellowships at Columbia University Irving Medical Center/NewYork-Presbyterian.
Dr. Zilinyi is an active clinical investigator, his work focusing on interventional therapies for pulmonary embolism and peripheral arterial disease, health economics, and novel physiologic assessment in endovascular interventions for peripheral arterial disease.
