About Yael Monselise, LCSW
Yael is an Associate in Psychiatric Social Work at the Columbia University Clinic for Anxiety Related Disorders (CUCARD) Westchester. She received her BA in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice and her Master's in Social Work at Fordham University. Yael has previous training at Montefiore Hospital, where she participated in their Dialectical Behavioral Therapy program treating children and adolescents in an outpatient setting. Yael also worked with adults at Greenwich Hospital Behavioral Health and was a medical Social Worker at Montefiore's Kidney/Liver Transplant Department. Yael is certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and has formal training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (EX/RP) and. Yael values policy and advocacy work and believes in the development of a positive therapeutic relationship.
