About Michael P Lavelle, MD
Michael P. Lavelle, Jr., MD, is an Assistant Professor of Medicine practicing at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. He earned his undergraduate degree from Siena College and obtained his MD through the combined degree program with Albany Medical College. Dr. Lavelle completed his residency and chief residency in Internal Medicine, followed by fellowship training in Cardiovascular Disease and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Irving Medical Center. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease.Dr. Lavelle's professional interests include medical education and he currently serves as the Associate Program Director of the Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology Fellowship Program.
