About Tarah Pua, MD, MS
Dr. Tarah Pua is a Gynecologic Oncologist in the Cancer Center of NewYork-Presbyterian Queens hospital. Dr. Pua graduated summa cum laude from Barnard College with a B.A. in Biochemistry and went on to complete her medical degree at NYU School of Medicine. She completed her internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology and fellowship in Integrative Medicine. She is interested in complementary therapies as an adjunct to cancer treatment. Dr. Pua earned the American Association for Gynecologic Laparoscopists Award for excellence in minimally invasive procedures in her chief year and the Barton Memorial award for service to the department in research and patient care. She subsequently completed a fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology and a Master's of Science in Clinical Investigation. Dr. Pua interests include chemotherapy trials and targeted therapies for gynecologic malignancies.
