About Siyang Leng, MD
Dr. Leng is an Instructor of Medicine in the Division of Hematology/Oncology at Columbia University Medical Center. He received his medical degree from SUNY Downstate College of Medicine, where he was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed internal medicine residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, and hematology/oncology fellowship at The Mount Sinai Medical Center. During his fellowship, he developed a clinical and research interest in the plasma cell dyscrasias, and was selected to participate in the ECCO-AACR-EORTC-ESMO Workshop on Methods In Clinical Cancer Research to further develop his research interests. He has presented his work nationally at the American Society of Hematology annual meeting.
Dr. Leng's research analyzes the delivery of care for patients with plasma cell disorders. He is also interested in novel clinical therapeutics, and participates in clinical trials at the local and national level.
