About Shannique L Richards, PhD
Shannique Richards, PhD, is a licensed clinical psychologist and instructor in medical psychology and psychiatry. She holds a hospital appointment at New York-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center (NYP/CUIMC), where she provides clinical care services located within the Neurological Institute at Columbia University. Her clinical interests include women's mental health, perinatal and reproductive mental health, trauma, and stress-related issues. Dr. Richards also addresses a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, interpersonal and relationship challenges, life transitions, and more. She approaches her work with an integrative, trauma-informed, and multicultural perspective. Dr. Richards received her doctorate in clinical psychology from The City University of New York, City College.
