Sasha Storaasli, LCSW

Sasha holds clinical interest in health-related quality of life, psychological and emotional implications of terminal illness, end-of-life and grief. She holds advanced training in the treatment of trauma and is a Compassionate Inquiry practitioner.Sasha provides clinical supervision to palliative care social work colleagues who are working toward their clinical licensure. She is a funded and published Quality of Life investigator and was awarded the Columbia's Department of Medicine's Hospital Staff Award in 2014-2015. She has also facilitated numerous educational seminars on Advanced Directives and Goals of Care. Prior to joining the Palliative Care Team, Sasha was also a proud member of the Lung Transplant Team at Columbia-Presbyterian. She has been serving patients in this hospital since 2013.
