About Samuel Nayman, PHD
Samuel J. Nayman, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Medical Psychology in the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Columbia University. He is a licensed clinical psychologist in New York and New Jersey and practices at ColumbiaDoctors. Dr. Nayman received his Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Rutgers University and completed his predoctoral clinical internship at Yale School of Medicine, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship in clinical child and pediatric psychology at Mayo Clinic. His training includes extensive experience in evidence-based treatments within the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) family. He is also certified in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT).
