Ryan E. Lawrence, MD

Ryan Lawrence joined the faculty in 2014 as an inpatient psychiatrist on 9 Garden North (Milstein Hospital). He then served as unit chief of 3 River East, a 30 bed MICA inpatient unit located at the Allen Hospital, and was subsequently Director of the Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program at New York - Presbyterian Hospital, Columbia University Medical Center. He is now the Clinical Director of the New York State Psychiatric Institute. His writing focuses on topics related to ethics and patient safety.
