About Pravin Matthew, MD
Pravin Matthew, MD is a board-certified Family Medicine physician. He graduated from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in Newark, NJ, and completed his Family Medicine training at Hunterdon Medical Center in Flemington, NJ. While at Hunterdon, he was chosen as the 2024 New Jersey Family Medicine Resident of the Year, served as Chief Resident, and completed a certification in Integrative Medicine in Residency through the University of Arizona. Dr. Matthew was inspired to pursue Family Medicine due to his commitment to caring and advocating for all people, developing meaningful relationships with patients and their families, and addressing the physical, emotional, and social dimensions of health. He strives not only to educate patients but also to partner with them in taking control of their health. He is a champion for health equity and has a special interest in health policy and administration, as well as medical education.
