About Natasha S Freeman, MD MS
Dr. Natasha Freeman is an Instructor in Medicine practicing at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Dr. Freeman received a BA degree from Brown University. After her undergraduate studies, she completed a MS degree in Narrative Medicine at Columbia's School of Professional Studies. Dr. Freeman receieved her Medical Degree at Columbia University's Vagelos College of Physicians & Surgeons. She was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, received the Louis Gibofsky Memorial Prize for Research Work in Nephrology, the Drs. Robert A. Savitt and George H. McCormack Award for Medical Skill, Consideration, Understanding and Compassion and the Jimmy Watts Leadership Scholarship for Community and Immigrant Health. Following medical school, she was accepted into the Internal Medicine Residency Program at Yale University. Following her residency program, Dr. Freeman completed New York-Presbyterian / Columbia University Irving Medical Center's Nephrology Fellowship Training Program as a Postdoctoral Fellow.
