About Natasha S Freeman, MD MS
Dr. Natasha Freeman is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Nephrology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Dr. Freeman received a BA degree from Brown University. She received her MS degree in Narrative Medicine at Columbia's School of Professional Studies and her MD from Columbia University's Vagelos College of Physicians & Surgeons. She completed her internal medicine residency at Yale New-Haven Hospital, followed by her nephrology fellowship and advanced glomerular disease fellowship at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. She is committed to providing comprehensive care for patients with all types of chronic kidney disease, with a particular focus in complex glomerular and autoimmune kidney diseases. Her research interests including novel diagnostic and therapeutic advancements in the management of glomerular diseases, as well as understanding patient perspectives on the experience and impact of living with chronic kidney disease.
