About Megan M. Mroczkowski, MD
Dr. Megan Mroczkowski is the Program Medical Director of the Pediatric Psychiatry Emergency Service at NewYork-Presbyterian/Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital. She is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Columbia University Medical Center and an Assistant Attending Psychiatrist at New York-Presbyterian Hospital.
Dr. Mroczkowski completed General Psychiatry Residency at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. She completed Child and Adolescent Fellowship at New York-Presbyterian Hospital Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Residency Training Program of Columbia and Cornell Universities, where she served as chief resident. She completed Forensic Psychiatry Fellowship at The New York University School of Medicine/Bellevue Hospital.
Dr. Mroczkowski is certified as an expert witness in both psychiatry and forensic psychiatry in the New York City Criminal Court. She has an interest in international mental health and has volunteered in South East Asia, Central and South America. Additionally, she has worked as a child psychiatrist at the Weill Bugando Hospital in Mwanza, Tanzania.
Board Certified in Psychiatry, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, and Forensic Psychiatry, Dr. Mroczkowski was awarded the prestigious Barbara Ann Liskin Award in 2013.
