About Luke Quehl, MD
Luke Quehl, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Neurology at CUIMC in the Division of Child Neurology. He earned his medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine and completed his neurology residency at the University of North Carolina. Before joining Columbia, Dr. Quehl cared for infants and children with a wide range of neurological conditions at Boston Children's Hospital and Tufts Medical Center. His clinical focus includes seizures, newborn brain injury, early developmental concerns, and long-term neurodevelopmental follow-up.
Dr. Quehl's research background includes work in tic and movement disorders. He now focuses on neonatal neurology, with an emphasis on improving seizure detection in newborns and identifying early predictors of neurodevelopmental outcomes after brain injury.
