About Liora Schultz, MD
Dr. Liora M. Schultz is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Columbia University Irving Medical Center, where she directs the Pediatric Cellular Immunotherapy Program and serves as Founding Director of the Pediatric Real-World CAR Consortium. She is board certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Hematology/Oncology.Dr. Schultz completed her pediatric residency at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center and her fellowship in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. She subsequently pursued a postdoctoral fellowship in Immunotherapy at Stanford University School of Medicine.Her clinical and research work focuses on pediatric hematologic and oncologic malignancies, with a particular emphasis on advancing immunotherapeutic approaches for children with cancer. Through her leadership in clinical innovation and collaborative research, Dr. Schultz aims to expand access to and improve outcomes of cellular therapies in the pediatric population.
