About Kristina D'Antonio, LCSW


Kristina D'Antonio is a licensed clinical social worker in the state of New York. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Fordham University and went on to receive her Master's Degree from the NYU Silver School of Social Work where her focus of study was clinical practice. At NYU, Ms. D'Antonio conducted her own research on clinician perceptions of patients with personality disorders, and how these may influence treatment delivery. In addition, Ms. D'Antonio is currently pursuing advanced training in psychoanalytic psychotherapy at the William Alanson White Institute.


Ms. D'Antonio has a background working in psychiatric research, with patients suffering from severe mental illness in an inpatient setting, and in providing outpatient psychotherapy to individuals and groups. At CUMC, Ms. D'Antonio provides direct care to patients in Women's Mental Health in Ob/Gyn and serves as the program's clinical coordinator. Ms. D'Antonio provides both individual and group psychotherapy to patients using psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, and mindfulness-based approaches. Her clinical interests include perinatal mental health, treatment of post-partum depression, and the impact of early trauma.
