About Kaylan Christianer, MD
Dr. Kaylan Christianer is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician. A native of Northern California, she completed her undergraduate degree at the University of California at Davis, and later attended medical school Weill Cornell Medical College in New York City. She went on to complete her Internal Medicine residency at NewYork-Presbyterian Columbia, where she also served as Chief Medical Resident. Since 2018 she has been on faculty at the Division of General Medicine during which she helped develop a new primary care practice at the Harkness Pavilion on the main campus of the Columbia University Medical Center. Dr. Christianer's academic interests include medical education, geriatrics and palliative care, and promoting the advancement of women in medicine. She enjoys developing longitudinal relationships with her patients including management of complex diseases in older adults, with a focus on maintaining functionality and quality of life.
