About John B Doyle, MD
Dr. John “Jack” B. Doyle is a gastroenterologist and Assistant Professor of Medicine at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. He received his undergraduate degree from Yale University and his medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons, where he received the Michael Aranow Memorial Prize for exemplifying the highest standards of compassionate patient care. He went on to complete his internal medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship at Columbia University Medical Center, where he was named Chief Fellow.
Dr. Doyle specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of a variety of diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, with a particular expertise in celiac disease. He is a faculty member in the Celiac Disease Center at Columbia University, one of the country's foremost centers for patient care and research in the field. He is actively involved in clinical trials and epidemiological research in celiac disease and has published widely in leading academic journals. He is also engaged in the teaching and mentoring of medical students, residents, and fellows.
