About Jeffrey Russell Arace, MD
Dr. Jeffrey Arace is a Postdoctoral Clinical Fellow in Nephrology and Internal Medicine physician practicing at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. He received his Doctorate in Medicine degree from SUNY Downstate Medical Center. Dr. Arace is active in the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and has contributed to multiple national conferences and peer‑reviewed publications. His professional interests focus on nephrology research, molecular mechanisms of kidney disease, and clinical excellence in internal medicine. He has an interest in clinical nephrology and translational kidney research. He is board‑eligible in Internal Medicine. In addition, he serves as a Postdoctoral Clinical Fellow for the Nephrology Fellowship Training Program at Columbia and is a member of the Columbia research community under the mentorship of Dr. Jonathan Barasch. He was recently honored with the Columbia Gold Humanism and Excellence in Teaching Award for his contributions to medical education and humanistic patient care.
