About Irene K. Louh, MD, PhD


Irene K Louh, MD, PhD, is the Chief Medical Officer for Data & Analytics for NewYork-Presbyterian and is also an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at Columbia University Irving Medical Center where she practices Critical Care Medicine. In her role, she leads the analytics and artificial intelligence programs of the enterprise in addition to being responsible for NYP's digital health evaluation initiatives and leading provider alignment for NYP's Epic enterprise implementation. A graduate of the Medical Scientist Training Program at the University of Illinois at Chicago, with clinical training at Mayo Clinic in Florida and NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Her research interests in implementation science and systems based process improvement led her to collaborations in the development of data-driven predictive models for driving change in the hospital system, and now actively brings together research, analytics, and artificial intelligence teams to transform the care across the enterprise. Dr. Louh has co-authored multiple peer-reviewed articles and in 2018 was inducted as a Fellow of the New York Academy of Medicine.
