About Ethan Mack, MD, PhD


Dr. Mack is an Assistant Professor of Pathology and Assistant Attending at the Columbia University Irving Medical Center in the Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University. He also serves as medical director of Apheresis and Cell Therapy Collections at NYP/CUMC. He received his MD and PhD in Immunology from the University of Pennsylvania as part of the Medical Scientist Training Program. Dr. Mack is a member of the American Society for Apheresis (ASFA), the Association for the Advancement of Blood and Biotherapies (AABB), and other professional societies. His research interests focus on the intersection of granulopoiesis/neutrophil function, sickle cell disease, and red cell exchange therapy.
