About Emily Cruz, LMSW
Emily Cruz, LMSW is a licensed master social worker at the Columbia University for Anxiety and Related Disorders (CUCARD). Emily graduated with her B.A in Psychology from Florida International University. She also received her Master of Science in Social Work from the Columbia University School of Social Work, where she specialized in Advanced Clinical Practice. Prior to joining CUCARD, Emily worked in private practice working with all age populations experiencing trauma, grief and life transitions. Currently, Emily specializes in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), mindfulness and psychodynamic therapy. She has a special interest in working with children, teens, families, and young adults with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and life transitions.
