About Daniel Savaria, MD


Dr. Daniel Savaria is a board-certified radiologist who specializes in breast imaging. He is an assistant professor of radiology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center and an assistant attending radiologist at NewYork-Presbyterian. Dr. Savaria is experienced in all breast imaging modalities that facilitate breast cancer diagnosis, including mammography, contrast-enhanced mammography, ultrasound, and MRI, as well as image-guided interventional procedures, including tomosynthesis-guided breast biopsy, ultrasound-guided breast biopsy, MRI-guided breast biopsy, non-radioactive seed placement, and wire localization.

Dr. Savaria earned his medical degree from Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine in Scranton, PA, completed his diagnostic radiology residency training at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA, and completed his breast imaging fellowship at the University of Washington in Seattle, WA.
