About Colleen M. Turek, MD
Dr. Turek is the Program Medical Director of the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Consultation Liasion service at NewYork-Presbyterian/Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital. She is an Assistant Professor in Psychiatry at Columbia University Irving Medical Center and an attending at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. She completed her general adult psychiatry residency at the Zucker Hillside Hospital with Northwell and completed her child psychiatry fellowship at the NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Residency Training Program of Columbia and Cornell Universities on the Community and Public Psychiatry Track. During her final year of training Dr. Turek served as chief resident for the Westchester site as well as the Community Track. She has a special interest in working with medically complex and underserved patient populations, in addition to working with maternal-infant health and eating disorders.
