About Alina Barmanwalla, MD
Dr. Alina Barmanwalla, MD is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Department of Medicine at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Dr. Barmanwalla earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from Ross University School of Medicine. She subsequently completed her residency in Internal Medicine at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital in affiliation with Weill Cornell Medicine. She is board-certified in Internal Medicine and is an active member of the American College of Physicians, the American Medical Association, and the Harvard Club of Boston. In addition to her medical training, Dr. Barmanwalla was awarded both the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences Academic Scholarship and the Food Science and Human Nutrition Academic Scholarship in recognition of her academic excellence.
