About Giora Weisz, MD
Giora Weisz, MD is an Associate Professor in Clinical Medicine at Columbia University Irving Medical Center, Director of the Cath Lab of Hudson Valley. Dr. Weisz graduated from the Hebrew University-Hadassah Medical School in Jerusalem, Israel. He completed his residency in internal medicine and cardiology fellowship at the Carmel Medical Center in Haifa, Israel, and completed full training in interventional cardiology at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York. As a practicing interventional cardiologist, Dr. Weisz has particular interest in current and innovative technologies. He has pioneering experience with novel robotic-enhanced coronary interventions, including navigation and positioning technologies. Additional interests include management of incomplete revascularization, novel intravascular imaging, and strategies for prevention of contrast-induced nephropathy.
