About Maria Carmela Evangelista, NP
M. Carmela Evangelista is an Adult Nurse Practitioner specialized in diagnosing and treating orthopedic conditions primarily focused on lower extremities. Her journey into becoming a healthcare provider, while circuitous, contributes to the personal perspective she imparts and the ambience in each of her patient encounters.

She also worked in an ambulatory care short stay nurse at the Weill Cornell Campus of the NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, and as an adult nurse practitioner at Fordham University's Student Health Service.
